The Harwinton Congregational Church is holding the Art in Bloom event again this year. There will be an Art/Flower show as well as a Quilt Show and a Victorian Tea. Information for Quilters and Fiber Artists Art in Bloom IV Harwinton Congregational Church Art/Flower Show- Quilt Show- Victorian Tea July 20, 201911am – 2:00pm The Quilt and Fiber Art exhibit will be held in the sanctuary of the church. The work will be displayed on the back of the church pews or on tables. Submitted work may for sale. This is a fundraiser for the church. If there is a sale, 25% donation of amount of sale to go to the church Receiving:Wednesday, July 17, 6-8pm or Thursday, July 18, 9-10am. Drop off to the Church Sanctuary. You may use the back entrance. No Entry Fee Quilt/Fiber Art entrants will receive free admission to the Quilt and Art/Flower show. They may also purchase a ticket to the Victorian Tea for $15.00. ($10.00 discount!) Information for Artists/Floral Arrangers for Art in Bloom IV Harwinton Congregational Church Art/Flower Show - Quilt Show - Victorian Tea July 20, 2019 11am – 2pm The art and floral exhibit will be held in Upper Fellowship Hall at the church. The artwork will be paired with the floral arrangements. If not familiar with Art in Bloom Shows, there are many examples online. Artists may encourage floral arrangers to prepare arrangements to complement their artwork, create their own arrangement or ask to be paired with an arranger. Please let us know if this is the case. Floral Arrangers may preview the artwork on Thursday during setup or Friday morning.
Artists may submit 1 artwork no larger than 24 x 36. There is limited wall space. Please bring a display easel for artwork, if possible. Arrangements should be no larger than 3 1/2 ft. tall, 2 1/2 ft. wide. Floral arrangers are encouraged to bring a stand for the arrangement.
No Entry Fee Artists/Arrangers will receive free admission to the Quilt and Art/Flower show. They may also purchase a ticket to the Victorian Tea for $15.00. ($10.00 discount!)
