COMMUNITY OUTREACH

A  way  to do something that helps others in need in our community is to donate to the Harwinton Food Pantry.  They are in a constant need for food and resources and it is something we can all do.  Here is how we can help:

  • Bring non-perishable foods to church with you on Sunday.  Or drop it by on Friday morning when the office is open.  We will deliver it to the pantry.

  • Deliver your donation yourself:  Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays are the best days to drop off items at the Food Pantry Entrance (Back of the building, Resident State Trooper door) between the hours of 8:30am - 4:00pm - ordered items can be delivered at any time. The door is being monitored for donations and then taken into the building for disinfecting before distribution.

  • Monetary donations are needed as well.  For monetary donations please make all payments to the 'Town of Harwinton' with 'Food Pantry' written in the memo line. Payments can be mailed to: 'Food Pantry c/o First Selectman's Office' 100 Bentley Drive, Harwinton, CT 06791.
